Our Purpose
Bengaluru has always been a city of runners. From the shaded lanes of Cubbon Park to the trails of Turahalli, thousands lace up every morning. But for too long, these communities existed in silos â great clubs that most runners didn't even know existed.
We are here to change that. Our purpose is to unite all runners and running groups in Bengaluru, promote inclusivity, organise collective events, advocate for safe running spaces, and celebrate the joy of running.
We are committed to taking running to all communities and individuals across Bengaluru â irrespective of caste, religion, gender, age, economic background, or ability. Running is a universal activity that fosters health, joy, and community, and we strive to make it accessible to everyone without discrimination.

What We Believe
The Story Behind Our Logo
At the heart of the Bengaluru Runners logo is a custom-crafted typographic form that merges the letters "B" for Bengaluru and "R" for Runners into a single cohesive mark. These forms subtly echo the rotated Kannada characters āēŽ (ba) and āē° (ra), creating a natural visual connection between English and Kannada â the two languages at the heart of Bengaluru's identity.
The design also draws from the Kannada syllable āēŽāģāē (bem). When rotated, this element is abstracted to resemble the silhouette of a runner in motion â transforming a linguistic cue into a dynamic and expressive visual.
Woven into the logo is the subtle silhouette of the Vidhana Soudha â not as decoration, but as a declaration. These runners are not merely passing through Bengaluru; they belong to it. Together, these layers reflect the city's bilingual identity while embodying movement, inclusivity, and the spirit of a city that runs as one.
